What a stay at Namale is like

Namale is not a conventional beach hotel with one main building and rows of rooms. Its accommodation is spread across a large tropical property above the Koro Sea. The small guest capacity gives the resort a quiet feel even though its facilities list is unusually long for a 22-key property.

The main appeal is convenience within the resort. Meals, most drinks, room service, many land and water activities, evening entertainment and airport transfers are bundled into the nightly rate. Guests can alternate between active days and quiet time without repeatedly signing bills. The tradeoff is isolation. Savusavu is close by car, but Namale is designed as a destination in itself rather than a base for walking to shops and independent restaurants.

Namale has long been owned by motivational speaker Tony Robbins. That is why the property is sometimes associated with his events and retreats. A normal reservation is still a resort stay, so do not assume a Robbins program is part of the booking unless it is specifically listed in your package.

Namale bures and villas compared

Room category matters more here than at a standard hotel. All categories include air conditioning, a king bed, Wi-Fi, a private deck and a minibar that can be restocked daily. Ocean views, outdoor showers, hot tubs and private pools depend on the category and the individual unit.

Current published rates

The table below shows Namale's published base rates for stays of two to four nights. Rates were checked on 28 July 2026 and are quoted in US dollars per night, tax included, based on double occupancy. They apply to new bookings for stays from 1 May 2026. Promotions, residency rates, minimum stays and availability can change the final price.

Namale currently publishes lower nightly rates for longer stays: 20 percent off for five to seven nights, 25 percent off for eight to nine nights and 30 percent off for ten nights or more. Compare the complete trip cost, not just the room rate. The domestic flight to Savusavu, paid spa treatments and optional excursions can add materially to the total.

What is included and what costs extra

The word all-inclusive does not mean that every experience shown on the resort website is free. Ask for the current included-activities list and the price list for excursions before arrival, especially if diving or off-resort tours are central to your plans.

Dining at Namale

Meals are served à la carte rather than through a standard buffet routine. Current resort information describes farm-to-table and ocean-to-table menus with seafood, another protein choice and a vegetarian option at dinner. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included, and the minibar can be customized and replenished daily.

Breakfast is currently listed from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. Room service is available from morning into the evening. Two official Namale pages show different closing times, 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm, so confirm the current cutoff if late dining matters to you. Guests with allergies or dietary restrictions should send requirements before arrival and confirm them again at check-in.

A destination meal is included on longer stays. The current policy gives guests staying five or six nights a private breakfast or lunch. For seven nights or more, breakfast, lunch or dinner can be chosen. The location depends on weather, operations and availability.

Spa, activities and the Kava Bowl

Spa access

The Valeni Sasauni Spa sits above the Koro Sea. The hydrotherapy area is part of the all-inclusive package and currently opens from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It includes a sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, waterfall massage and heated aromatherapy pools. Massages and other scheduled treatments cost extra. Book popular treatment times before arrival if spa appointments are a priority.

Included ways to stay active

The included program can cover kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, boat or shore snorkeling, handline fishing, a waterfall hike, tennis, basketball, volleyball and reef walks when conditions allow. Activities depend on weather, tides and the daily schedule. The resort's Coconut Telegraph program lists current times and available options during a stay.

Kava Bowl is the resort's air-conditioned indoor entertainment center. It includes two bowling lanes, billiards, table tennis, darts, air hockey, foosball, board games and private screening rooms. It is a useful alternative during rain or when guests want a break from water activities.

Beach, pools and coastline

Namale has a coastal setting, a small beach area, reef access and views across the Koro Sea. This is not the same experience as a resort built beside a long, broad strip of soft sand. The shoreline includes volcanic and reef sections, and water access changes with tide and sea conditions.

Guests who mainly want ocean views, snorkeling, tide-pool exploration and pool time may find the setting appealing. Travelers whose first priority is easy-entry swimming from a wide white-sand beach should compare other Fiji locations before booking. Reef shoes are sensible for supervised coastal activities, but follow the resort team's daily safety advice.

The two freshwater resort pools and two hot tubs are open around the clock according to the current FAQ. Private water features are category-specific, so a standard bure should not be assumed to include a plunge pool.

How to get from Nadi to Namale Resort

1. Arrive at Nadi International Airport on Viti Levu.
2. Clear immigration and customs, collect checked baggage and continue to the domestic terminal.
3. Take a domestic flight to Savusavu Airport on Vanua Levu. The flight is approximately one hour.
4. Meet the Namale transfer at Savusavu Airport for the included drive of about 10 minutes.

Domestic services use smaller aircraft than most international routes. Your domestic baggage allowance can be lower than the allowance on the international ticket, even when both flights carry Fiji Airways branding. Check the fare rules for the exact flight, leave enough connection time in Nadi and follow any airline request for passenger or baggage weight information.

If the international arrival is late or the connection is on a separate ticket, an overnight stop near Nadi may be safer than a tight same-day connection. Namale's published sustainability practices

Current resort information says its organic farm supplies more than half of the fruit and vegetables served to guests, with additional produce and seafood sourced from local farmers and fishers. Namale also reports composting food waste, recycling materials and using captured rainwater for laundry.

The resort currently states that its electricity comes from the local Wainique Hydro Power Station. This is the relevant renewable-energy claim for the page. The previous FijiEco statement about Namale using solar power was not supported by the current resort information and should not be republished.
